Real Brides: Michelle

Blake and I met online--Tinder actually. We were both living in Midland, Texas at the time. I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and Blake grew up in Dallas, so it was definitely fate that we met each other in west Texas. The weekend that I went wedding dress shopping was somewhat frustrating and slightly disappointing. I made several appointments at big boutiques in Fort Worth, but was unimpressed with most of the dresses I tried on. The next day, I had an appointment at Lang's Bridal, which is actually only about 1 mile from my house. I browsed through the "bohemian style" dress section and immediately fell in love with the lace on my dress. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The stylist who helped me knew it was "the dress" and when both moms and my best friend were all in tears, we all knew it was "the dress". I couldn't stop smiling! We were married in the teepee that Blake's dad built just for us!! And we had a tequila donkey! Those were probably the 2 biggest highlights of our wedding weekend in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
