Real Brides: Jessie

Mike and I actually have a cute story about how we first met! We were at a mutual friend’s house for a barbecue in 2009 and pretty much locked eyes on each other and started bantering and joking around with each other. Unfortunately, he’d just started dating someone, so I had a crush on him from afar for roughly four years until he was finally single and made a move on New Years Eve in 2013! I knew my dress was the one as soon as I tried it on. My bridal consultant brought it in for me on a whim, as I told her there’s no way I could pull off spaghetti straps in a dress because of my chest size. As soon as I stepped into it, I started crying almost immediately and I knew that this was my dress. When our wedding song started playing over the speakers in the store as soon as I walked out in it to show my mom, that sealed the deal.
