Real Brides: Bridget

Corey and I met when we were 16 working our first jobs at a ski resort. A mutual friend introduced us. We have been dating now for 11 years! What can you say, when you know, you know! Plus, he has seen me at my most awkward high school phases. If he stayed with me through those treacherous decisions, he'll stay with me for the long run! I had already tried on about 10 dresses and randomly decided to stop at a bridal boutique with my mom. We went to Blush Bridal in Lancaster, PA. I didn't even pull the dress, the consultant did. I figured I should at least try it on. It wasn't even fully zippered when the girl was like "Okay, your face just completely lit up!" I lost my breath and couldn't stop smiling! I finally had that bridal feeling that everyone gushes about. I did not care about anyone’s opinion of the dress because I was in love with it and there was no convincing me otherwise (everyone loved it!) I ended up taking laps around the store refusing to take it off! I went home to look at more photos of it online and it took everything I had in me not to shove pictures in my then fiancé's face! Honestly, this dress made me feel so confident and like the most beautiful bride inside and out! I'm still trying to think of ways I can wear it again. I'll just walk around the house in it, I don’t care! Any girl would be lucky to feel the way I did on my wedding day, especially in the dress I chose!
