Real Brides: Lori

My husband and I actually first met online in January 2014, and went on a date to a Washington Capitals game shortly after. It was love at first site and only a little white after that we were inseparable. We quickly bonded over fishing, hockey, baseball and the love for being outdoors. We got engaged in June 2018 and soon after I saw the first photo of this Simply Val Stefani dress on instagram. It was my wedding dress inspo. After dress shopping for a couple of months, going to about 4 different shops and having consultants pull any and every dress that wasn't anywhere close to the style, I caved and found a shop that sold Val Stefani. I gave them a call and sure enough they had just got it in and I went there immediately. As soon as I put it on I knew I had truly never wanted to wear any other dress. It was light weight, had straps for support, a short train (perfect for a hot August outdoor wedding in Virginia) and most importantly had the most beautiful lace detail I had ever seen. Even the owner of That's My Dress in Fredericksburg, VA knew that dress was "my" dress.
