Real Brides: Carolyn

My husband and I met first as campers at a Christian summer camp when we were both very very young. We each went to the camp since we were in 4th grade and later met when we were in 9th grade. During college we worked together on staff and quickly started dating from there. After four years of dating long distance, he propose to me at the same summer camp we met at and the same summer camp we got married at. I took my MOH, mom, and grandmas with me to Blush Bridal in Lancaster, PA. I tried on probably 5 or so dresses and arrived at “the one”. However, the consultant said to everyone to check the salon racks one more time to make sure there wasn’t anything else they wanted me to try on. My MOH picked out this dress that looked so different from anything else I had tried on. When I stepped into it and looked in the mirror, I instantly had tears in my eyes. It just felt right. My family and MOH agreed!
