Real Brides: Candace
I met my husband by fluke really. I was trying to prove to friends that internet dating wasn’t possible and tinder never leads to real relationships. Fast forward a few days and I get a message from Cory. A city guy I had no intention in meeting until I find out his mum grew up in my tiny hometown. Thank god she did because I was raised on stranger danger but if he was raised by someone who grew up where I did stranger danger didn’t exist. We finally hung out and have been inseparable ever since. I pretty much moved in a few months later without either of us realizing what was happening and before we knew it we had started our little fur-family. In a matter of 2 years we had gotten 3 kittens. Lulu, Lucy and Lola who happened to make it onto our wedding programs. Fitting as we had a stray join our pictures. I’ve always been a clutz and proved it again at the wedding. Falling down the aisle, during pictures and again on the dance floor. My husbands gotten used to it and laughs it off with me every time.
I knew my dress was the one as soon as I saw it. I was looking for lace, vintage, comfy and simple. Comfy was an essential as I live in hoodies, leggings and jeans. As soon as I put it on I cried and couldn’t realize a dress could be so comfy. The lace was stunning and the low back and beaded straps did me in. It’s hands down the most stunning dress in the world.
