I actually went to high school with my husband but I was just a freshman his senior year so we really didn't hang out then. But a few years later my best friend married his best friend and we all started hanging out. We started talking as friends and eventually started hanging out on our on without the group. After a night out to watch the new Spiderman movie, he called me and told me to pull over at the nearest gas station which made me freak out and think something was wrong. He walked over and leaned in my window and told me that he really liked me and was working up the nerve to tell me to which I replied it's about time and the rest is history.
Picking out my dress was the best part of wedding planning. I took my mom, my sister in law, my mother in law and one of my friends to go look. We went to Two Dames Bridal where Kelsey helped guide me in choosing a selection of dresses. I really wanted a dress with sleeves but I tried on a little bit of everything. My dress ended up being the very last dress and it was just a definite yes from everyone as soon as I walked out. I really loved how light the material was because I wanted to be able to dance and move. It made my day when I was told I could add sleeves to it and changed the neckline. I was so nervous waiting for the dress to come in because I knew it was going to be a completely different looking dress. But from the moment I put it on. I knew it was perfect and I couldn't imagine getting married in any other dress. I felt just like a princess.
Bride Maggie wore a custom Simply Val Stefani style.
