Real Brides: Anyssa

Nik & I first crossed paths in 2008 when him and my cousin (Shout out to Jesse) became friends. Thankfully their friendship continued and through many years of jokingly saying that Nik was my ‘future husband’ (My heart just always knew ♡ ) Our story began after a night out with friends in April of 2017. A week later we went on our first date and our journey began. 

I walked into Ferndale's Bridal with an idea of how I wanted to look. I wanted a simple form fitting gown with only a small amount of lace. I tried on a few and none gave me the "spark" I was looking for. The best bridal consultant (Ana) pulled out MY dress. She had me try it on and I was in awe. I loved the way the dress looked, how it flattered my body, and just made me feel beautiful. I didn't want to take it off! But because this was not the "idea" I had always had in my head, I decided to continue trying on other dresses and even went to another bridal salon. But every single dress I tried on I compared to the Val Stefani Gown. That same day after leaving Ferndale's, I desperately called Ana asking if I could try on the dress just one more time. When I walked back in she shared "I knew you'd come back. That is your dress, girl!." She had the dress already hanging and waiting for me in the back dressing room. I put it on again, Ana put a veil on me and there were no questions. The (second) easiest yes I ever said!
