My husband and I met in high school and dated for three years and then broke up once I went to college. We both needed to figure ourselves out and grow up. Then, we actually met back up at a get together with friends and neither one of us were supposed to be there. He was to go on a blind date but last minute decided not to go and just wanted to be with his friends. My friend and I were going to go, but then she took a nap at 9 pm. Then, around 10, she texted me and said she was picking me up and to get ready. At first, it was weird for us both since we had not spoken during our break up, but then we picked right back up where we left off! We knew that we were meant for each other and never stopped loving each other from the very beginning! It truly was meant to be for us both to be there that night!
When I went to pick out my dress, I did not think I would decide on one the first day because I am a very indecisive person. I tried on many dresses during my session and I had an idea in my head of what I wanted. After trying a few, Holly (the owner) forgot she just had a shipment in with a new fall dress. She brought it out and it was everything that I wanted! The back was open, it flowed well on my body, and I absolutely loved the train!! I tried it on as a trumpet-style but I did not like not being able to move as much so I was able to create a small A-line style. I loved that I could create what I wanted since many other dress companies do not allow alterations to it. Once I put it on with the veil and even a small head piece, I knew it was the one. I do not normally cry, but I started to cry because it just felt right and I knew it was made for me!
