Real Brides: Anna
I met my husband after we officially "matched" online, but after a couple conversations, we realized that we grew up going to the same church (his mom was my Sunday school teacher). It doesn't sound so serendipitous until you know that I was living in New York City and he was in Salt Lake City when we connected. The only reason we matched was because we were both home for the holidays. After 6 months of dating long distance, we got engaged, I moved to Utah, and we got married another 6 months later in Mexico!
I was struggling to find a dress that struck the balance of classic and unconventional, while also being lightweight enough to dance the night away. When I learned how much I could customize the dress, I knew it was perfect. I picked a champagne lining so the appliques stood out. I changed the neckline to be sweetheart, and the straps to sit wider on my shoulders. And that back? Amazing.
