Real Brides: Alma

My husband and I met when we were 13 years old at a mutual friend’s birthday party. We became friends and ended up developing crushes for each other (perhaps I more than he did). We never dated, mostly because I had strict parents. We ended up graduating high school, went off to college, dated other people, and lost touch along the way. It wasn’t until I moved back to our hometown that we reconnected. He asked me to be his plus one to his brother’s wedding, and it’s all history from there.

Everything about the dress was beautiful. I wanted a form-fitting dress with non-overwhelming detail, and it checked off all of the boxes. Although, what really sold me was the train. No other dresses that I tried on had such a long, full, and impressive train. The beading and appliqué on this dress were absolutely stunning, and I LOVED how the dress made my body look in photos…and that was without alterations!
