Real Brides: Rachel
I had taken a job at the country club for the summer while I was in hair school. My husband had moved to Houston for his golf career and started training at that same course. After a rainy day of golf, Cole came into the club house for lunch, my only customer that day. His confidence, charming smile, and quick wit had me hooked. After the next few months of Cole conveniently being everywhere I was, he asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history.
After trying on about 30 other dresses, I just wasn’t feeling it. I had tried on dresses from simple to ball gown all the above, and nothing gave that wow factor I was looking for. When I found Whittington Bridal in Kingwood, Texas, my sales associate Ellen immediately recommended what ended up being my wedding dress. Once I described my vision to her, I picked out a few dresses, and this was the dress that she picked out for me to try on. Once I tried on my wedding dress, I instantly started tearing up. My mom and I have always admired princess Diana’s timeless style. We both looked at each other and said “this is the wedding dress she should have worn” when we said that the sales associate said, that’s so funny you say that the dress is called Princess. I instantly knew it was the one. This dress is the most classy, elegant, show-stopping, and timeless dress I could ever imagine. And that’s exactly what I was looking for, my needs were met in a market that didn’t understand my style. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day thanks to this amazing designer.
