Real Brides: Lauren
Mitch and I matched on a dating app. We connected over our shared love of breweries and travel and soon decided to go out on a date! We met at a local brewery in Atlanta, a few hours later, not ready to say goodbye, we ended the night with tacos (our favorite). The rest is history!
I began my dress search by exploring different styles and designers to get a sense of where to start. That’s when I came across Rio online, and I instantly fell in love. Excited to try it on, I visited Silk & Satin Bridal in Greenville, only to find out that Rio was a new design that wasn’t in stores yet. I tried on several other beautiful gowns, but none gave me that special feeling. About a month later, I saw that Silk & Satin was hosting a Val Stefani trunk show, so I reached out to my stylist, who was able to request Rio for me. The moment I slipped into the dress, I just knew it was the one!
