Real Brides: Marisela

Will and I met in the summer of 2010 in a summer school Math class. We didn’t hang out after the class ended that summer but we remained friends on Facebook. Years later in 2014 he sent me a message and asked if I wanted to grab sushi. It was something we had always talked about doing when we had the summer school class together but had never gotten around to doing it. The rest is history after that one date. Will proposed in 2016 when we went on a cruise to Ensenada and we got married this year in March. I went wedding dress shopping at Ferndale's Bridal. When I got there I told the saleswomen that I wanted a dress with thin straps, a long train, and a low back. She pulled a few dresses for me to try on and had me try on the Val Stefani Bridal dress first. She said she had just gotten the dress in and was excited for someone to try it on. She zipped and buttoned me up quickly and pushed me outside to step onto the platform. The minute I looked in the mirror I knew it was the dress for me. It was everything I had dreamed of and more! It was absolutely gorgeous. It very flattering and the details and lace were amazing. Every dress I tried on after that did not compare. I bought the dress that day and couldn’t wait for it to be ready. On my wedding day I felt so beautiful and comfortable in my dress and my husband and all the wedding guests loved it.
